The book is a translation and critical edition of The Prosecutor written by Paraguay’s most famous writer, Augusto Roa Bastos. The novel traces the journey of Félix Moral, exiled by the Stroessner government, as he travels back to Paraguay to assassinate the dictator and free the Paraguayan people from tyranny.
