The Legacy of Shadows is an enigma wrapped in mystery as a writer, in an attempt to understand the death of his artist friend, finds unexpected answers in a remote and largely uninhibited mining town which is lost in both space and time somewhere in Latin America. The boundaries of human interaction are explored in this surreal environment and it is a mystery because of its characters for both the heart and the mind.
